The Gilas Women's mainstay earlier played for Shih Hsin University in Taiwan, Serbian club Radnički Kragujevac in 2021, and a few summer leagues in the US.
Animam underwent knee surgery in January 2022, and month after injury cut short her stint in Serbia.
