Minnesota Timberwolves star Karl-Anthony Towns had 20 points, while Lester Quinones added 12 points for Dominican Republic, which named its final 12 for the Fiba Basketball World Cup after the preparation match.

Dominican Republic is set to arrive on Monday in Manila, four days before it plays Gilas Pilipinas in the opener of the 2023 Fiba Basketball World Cup. The match will be played at the Philippine Arena where local organizers are looking to break the attendance record of 32,616.

Juan Nunez had 16 points, while Joel Parra had 11 points for Spain.
