GILAS Pilipinas women again stumbled against Chinese Taipei B, 94-83, in the 42nd Williams Jones Cup at the Taipei Peace Basketball Hall on Monday.

Five players finished in double-digit scoring for Chinese Taipei with Tai I Ting leading the way with 19 points. Jhang Yi Wen and Yu Chin Hua added 17 and 15, respectively.
The Gilas Women weren’t able to get it done despite a game-high 22 points along with six rebounds, three assists, one steal, and one block from Afril Bernardino.
Jack Animam was a rebound short of a double-double in the losing effort with 18 points and nine boards.
A wary Gilas squad will look to rebound quick when they face Korea on Tuesday.
