The naturalized player is expected to arrive in the country on Tuesday morning just as he promised to the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) and the management of Gilas Pilipinas.

The national team is still in Guandong, China and about to wrap up its campaign in the Heyuan WUS International Basketball Tournament where it faces Iran in the final game Monday night.
Gilas likewise is set to arrive in Manila on Tuesday, and will start to practice anew with Clarkson finally on board by Wednesday.

"Pag-uwi namin, Jordan (Clarkson) will just meet us there in Manila and then, tuluy-tuloy na kami magpa-practice from the 9th moving forward," said national coach Chot Reyes.
This will be the first time the 31-year-old Clarkson is going to be back in the country after playing in the fourth window of last year's World Cup qualifiers at the Mall of Asian Arena in an 84-46 romp over Saudi Arabia.
