The former University of Santo Tomas standout still managed to play for the Dyip shortly after undergoing surgery for a fibula fracture, suiting up for the franchise for the last time during the Commissioner's Cup.
He joined the likes of Mac Tallo, Carl Bryan Cruz, Prince Caperal, and Gab Banal, who were all left out by their respective teams prior to the Philippine Cup.
Tallo hooked up with a new team in Abra after a short stint with Converge, and will have for a teammate the 6-foot-8 Caperal, who was recently released by Northport.
Cruz went to Manila from TNT Tropang Giga, and Banal with Quezon from Blackwater.
Incidentally, making a playing comeback are Paul Desiderio, Justin Melton, and Rabeh Al-Hussaini.

Desiderio and Melton are teammates at Mindoro after last playing in the PBA at Blackwater and Magnolia, respectively.
Al-Hussaini is with Manila after last playing for Blackwater prior to the pandemic.
He actually practiced with the Bossing upon his return to the country early this year, but failed to land a roster spot.
The MPBL is set to open its fifth season on April 6
