DWIGHT Howard slipped into the country on Thursday afternoon, confirming his participation as an import in the newly formed The Asian Tournament.
The former NBA champion and All-Star will go on a two-week vacation in the Philippines, where he will be given a four-day treat on the world-famous Boracay Island this weekend.

Howard has signed to play for the Taiwan Mustangs in the fourth leg of the fledgling Asian tournament, but efforts to lure him to play for the Zamboanga Valientes are also underway.
Howard and former Lakers teammates DeMarcus Cousins and Quinn Cook are set to play for the Taiwan side, but hope that he can also play in the PBA were raised when the pro league scrapped its import height limit for the Governors' Cup next season.
