AARON Black is set to take his stats sheet-stuffing ways to another MPBL team.
The Quezon City Capitals have surprisingly given up the standout amateur guard to the Zamboanga Family’s Brand Sardines in a trade for Ryan Costelo and Christian Fajarito.
MPBL commissioner Kenneth Duremdes approved the swap in a memo released on Monday.
Black, son of former PBA import and current coach Norman Black, has been dominating the amateur ranks, putting up solid numbers for the Capitals and dropping triple-doubles with AMA in the PBA D-League after he skipped his final year at Ateneo.
Black is Zamboanga's latest prized trade acquisition after adding Alvin Pasaol, Santi Santillan, and Anton Asistio last month in the team's bid to make a deep postseason push.
