EJ OBIENA, for the second straight day in a different country, annexed another title by taking the Gala dei Castelli in Bellinzona, Switzerland.
The third-ranked Obiena cleared 5.81 meters to win the event with little rest, beating world No. 2 Christopher Nilsen of the United States, who only reached 5.71.

The Filipino pole vaulter apparently went to another competition just a day after he won the Golden Fly Series in Liechtenstein where he also reached 5.81 meters for the crown.
With the victory, Obiena has won six competitions over the course of four weeks, the highlight of which came during the Brussels Diamond League where he defeated world No. 1 Armand Duplantis.
