The former UAAP MVP's versatility shone through a year after winning the top opposite spiker nod as a converted winger in the 2024 edition of the tournament.
Canino produced 74 points built on 62 attacks, seven blocks, and five aces, averaging 10.57 points per contest in her second Nations Cup stint.
She ranked 11th overall in the tournament in scoring.
Dell Palomata was also named best middle blocker despite not playing in the gold medal match.
PLDT's 6-foot-3 net terror tallied 11 total blocks with an average of 1.83 rejections per set, producing 35 total points.
For the second year running, Alas captain Jia de Guzman was the competition's best setter by norming 3.43 excellent sets.
T4, Nguyen lead winners circle
Vietnam powerhouse winger Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen won a second-straight tournament MVP along with the best opposite spiker nod Canino won last year.
She fired a staggering 91-point total tournament output on 81 attacks, seven blocks and three aces, norming 15.17 markers per game.
Captain Tranh Thi Thanh Thuy (T4) was the other top outside hitter with 67 points (11.17 per game), who joined best libero Nguyen Khanh Dang as the champion troika in this year's roster of special awardees.
With a 12-block output, Kan Ko-hui of bronze medalist Chinese-Taipei stood alongside Palomata as one of the competition's two best middle blockers.
