IT SEEMS Geek Fam's so-called shadow analyst has slowly revealed his identity. Does this mean that Caisam "Wolf" Nopueto wasn't the man for the hour during Geek Fam's run back in the MPL Indonesia Season 12 playoffs?
SPIN.ph managed to find Onic PH's Mark "Bluffzy" Reyes behind the scenes for Geek Fam's M5 World Championship campaign, wearing Ocho Gahaba's jacket and a Geek Fam jersey.
When asked about Ocho Gahaba's true identity, Bluffzy joked about it to SPIN.ph.
"Hindi ko masabi, marami na atang Ocho G (laughs). Pero ayun, lalabas din yun. Magfe-face reveal din yun, (laughs)"
As to why he is helping Geek Fam? Bluffzy revealed to SPIN.ph that he is currently trying out for the Indonesian squad. He also expressed that Allen Jedric "Baloyskie" Baloy and Mark "Markyyyyy" Capacio contacted him to join the team.
Is Bluffzy leaving Onic PH?
With him providing his services to Geek Fam, does this mean that he'll be letting go of Onic PH?
According to Bluffzy: "Possible."
Then when asked about his overall experience with the team, he narrated some player instincts that are worth highlighting.
"May mga bagay na kailangang idagdag kasi iba talaga yung characteristics ng mga Indonesian players at mga Filipino players. In terms of mechanics, sa pagpindot, sobrang ok talaga nila and I think ang nagla-lack sa kanila is yung mga macro talaga."
Since his arrival to the team hasn't yet finalized, Bluffzy reiterated that he doesn't want to fully control the squad.
And with Geek Fam entering the world stage with momentum from their recent MPL run, he wants to keep the team's identity in check.
"Ok naman pero syempre hindi naman talaga kami nakikielam kasi meron talaga silang sistema, kumbaga inaaalayan namin baka mamaya, imbes na makakatulong, baka makakagulo kami."
He added: "Tinitingnan namin kung anong kaya pang idagdag pero at the same time, kung ano yung Geek Fam before, yun pa rin yung identity nila."
