Lady Troopers keep unbeaten slate intact after win over Power Attackers
Dindin Santiago continues to pace Philippine Army despite rarely attending the Lady Troopers' practices.

PHILIPPINE Army completed a sweep of the first round elimination as it disposed PLDT, 29-31, 25-19, 25-16, 25-18, to remain unbeaten in the Shakey's V-League Season 11 Reinforced Conference at The Arena in San Juan on Thursday.

Dindin Santiago came away with 19 points for the Lady Troopers, while Jovelyn Gonzaga, Mina Aganon and Ging Balse added 17, 14, and 10 markers respectively.

The Lady Troopers kept the top spot in women’s play with a perfect 3-0 card.

Although Santiago had the highest point production for Army, Lady Troopers coach Rico de Guzman admitted they are still adjusting with the presence of the 6-foot-2 spiker.

Santiago rarely attends team practice as her priority remains with Petron, her team in the Philippine Super Liga (PSL).

Team captain Sue Roces had 11 points for the Power Attackers, who remained in third place with a 3-1 slate.
