PLDT Home Telpad fights for dear life against early finalist Philippine Army in the Shakey's V-League Season 11 Foreign Reinforced Conference on Tuesday at The Arena in San Juan.

The match starts at 6 p.m.

The Turbo Boosters, running third with a 2-3 win-loss card, try to even their record and hope that second-running Cagayan Valley bows to also-ran Meralco (0-5) on Thursday in the final elimination-round match to force a playoff.

PLDT is coming off a three-set loss to Cagayan Valley on Sunday, while Army has been unbeaten in five matches.

Third year San Sebastian ace spiker Gretchel Soltones, who had 12 points in their previous match, will be again expected to take the lead while PLDT hopes skipper Sue Roces would bounce back from an eight-point outing.

It will be a tough match, however, against the Army side backed by Dindin Santiago and Mina Aganon, which had a four-day rest after a five-set win over Cagayan Valley.

Rizal Technological University and Systema clash in a no-bearing match in men’s play at 4 p.m.

Instituto Estetico Manila (4-1) and Systema Tooth and Gum Care (3-1) have arranged a finals match, while RTU and FEU are out of the race.
