SAN Beda coach Nemesio Gavino hopes that the Lady Red Spikers gained valuable experience for the NCAA after suffering an early exit in the Shakey’s V-League.

The Mendiola-squad went 0-3 in their group against UAAP teams University of the Philippines, University of Santo Tomas, and Far Eastern University, but Gavino preferred to stick to the positives in their campaign in the Collegiate Conference.

“Positive thinking pa din,” Gavino said.

Overall, Gavino said he was pleasantly surprised with his team for giving all three UAAP teams a run for their money.
