THREE teams are on track for the semifinals with five playdates left in the eliminations, and several clubs battle it out for the chance to join the round of four in the Shakey’s V-League Season 13 Open Conference.

Pocari Sweat is unbeaten in four matches, while BaliPure and Air Force have 4-1 win-loss cards.

National U and Laoag, with 2-3 cards, are tied for fourth, while University of the Philippines and Iriga can still catch up although with 1-3 slates winning their remaining elimination-round matches may not be enough and they need their rivals to falter down the stretch.

Iriga faces elimination on Saturday at the Blue Eagle gym when they battle the unbeaten Pocari Lady Warriors in the 4 p.m. match.

Laoag takes on winless Baguio at 6:30 p.m.

National U, coming off a stinging five-set loss to BaliPure, hope to rebound as the Lady Bulldogs take on Baguio on Monday.

UP takes on NU on June 25 before battling Laoag on June 27.

The playoff will be held on June 29.

Meanwhile, BaliPure and Air Force try to formalize their stint in the semis on June 22, with the Water Defenders taking on the Summer Spikers at 4 p.m. and the Jet Spikers clashing with the Lady Oragons.

“We need the one week break to prepare for our last two games, including one against Pocari,” said BaliPure player-coach Charo Soriano.
