NICOLE Tiamzon is hoping BanKo-Perlas can finally get its act together after winning its first game in the Premier Volleyball League Open Conference.

The former University of the Philippines top hitter scored 14 points in 25-18, 25-16, 21-25, 25-21 win over Adamson on Sunday which she hopes can boost the morale of a team coming off back-to-back losses to Air Force and Pocari Sweat.

“Dapat (mag-build kami ng momentum) kasi sayang naman ang pinagod namin (today),” said Tiamzon, who got her offense from 10 attacks, one block and three service aces.

BanKo-Perlas has four games remaining in the elimination round and Tiamzon believes their win over the Lady Falcons will serve as a confidence builder for the team.

“I think head start na rin sa amin, nagkaroon kami ng kumpyansa and parang ngayon lang namin ulit na-feel ang pagkapanalo since the last conference,” she said.

“So hopefully the next games sana manalo na rin kami,” she added.

The Spikers have a week to gear up before facing Power Smashers on Saturday.
