Pocari import Strizak all praises for Finals MVP Pablo: 'She played like an import'
Myla Pablo was a 'hammer' during Game 3, says Pocari import Michelle Strizak. Dante Peralta

MICHELLE Strizak may be the Best Import of the Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference, but Myla Pablo played like one in Game 3 in the eyes of the Pocari Sweat import.

Pablo  finished with 16 points in a 20-25, 25-17, 25-17, 25-19 win over BaliPure in Game Three that gave Pocari its third straight league title, counting two when the PVL was still named V-League.

She was later named Finals MVP - an award that was well-deserved, said Strizak.

"Myla did amazing," said Strizak. "She stepped up. She played like an import."

Strizak said she enjoyed playing with Pablo.

"She is just a hammer. I'm really proud of her. I'm grateful to be part of her team," said Strizak.

Strizak also built a strong case for the Best Import award, even scoring a PVL-record 40 points during one game in the conference.

More than the talent, however, Strizak was prouder of how the Lady Warriors overcame so much adversity before winning the title.

"I'm so proud of this team. We have been through so much adversity. So many injuries and us imports not being able to play. We started rough. I feel like our team got better every single day. It takes a lot of mental toughness and I'm just proud of this team," said Strizak.
