ARELLANO University snapped a two-match skid, turning back La Salle-Dasmarinas, 25-20, 25-17, 25-15, on Saturday in the V-League Collegiate Conference at The Arena in San Juan.

Menchie Tubiera scored 13 points, Danna Henson and Shirley Salamagos each had eight markers, and skipper Cristine Rosario added seven as Arellano University evened its record to 3-3.

Coach Roberto Javier, however, was not satisfied with the Lady Chiefs’ performance.

Asked if there are internal problems that could be affecting team play, Javier replied: “Sa tingin ko.”

“Sa tingin ko hindi pa bumabalik ang talagang laro ng team,” he said.

“Siguro mamaya usap ulit kami, hahanapin namin ’yung problema.

“Kasi para sa akin ang bigat pa sa loob kaya hindi makaperform ng maayos,” he added.

Cherry Rose Nunag and Mariebeth Lara had eight points apiece for La Salle-Dasmarinas.
