JORELLE Singh is glad to fit right into the Laoag Power Smashers system and help the squad get off to a strong start in the V-League Reinforced Conference.

The National University star got a good number of scoring chances from veteran setter Chie Saet and scored 13 attack points, winding up with 17 points total as the Power Smashers downed Philippine Coast Guard.

She matched power-hitting Grethcel Soltones, who scored all her 13 points on attacks.

"Masaya naman sila kasama," Singh said after the game, noting she hit it off with fellow Laoag recruit Soltones right on the first day of training.

"Magaling naman kasama si Gretchel, masaya," said Singh.

Singh also credited Saet for distributing the ball well.

"First time po, pero magaling naman si Ate Chie, so walang problema," she said.
