JAJA Santiago led the way as National University whipped University of Batangas, 25-16, 25-14, 25-19, on Sunday in the V-League Collegiate Conference at The Arena in San Juan.

The 6-foot-4 Santiago scored 23 points on 15 spikes, three blocks and five service aces, while sister and NU guest player Dindin Santiago-Manabat added 13 points.

NU came up with 43 spikes against 16 of UB and hit 10 service aces compared to just one by the Brahmans.

The Lady Bulldogs, now with a 2-0 win-loss card, also had 23 excellent sets, while their victims only had one in the match that lasted an hour and nine minutes.

Krissa Madalogdog scored six points for UB, winless in two matches and tied at the bottom with Polytechnic University of the Philippines.
