STRUGGLING teams take centerstage on Thursday when the Shakey’s V-League Season 12 Open Conference resumes at The Arena in San Juan.

Fourbees-Perpetual Help and Philippine Navy battle in the 4 p.m. main game, just after the 2 p.m. clash between winless teams Coast Guard and Baguio.

The Lady Altas and the Lady Sailors are currently tied at fifth spot with a 1-2 win-loss record, while Baguio and Coast Guard both have no wins to show in three games.

From a flat 0-2 start, Fourbees-Perpetual Help finally barged into the win column after a 25-16, 19-25, 25-22, 26-28, 15-11 conquest of Coast Guard last week.

Perpetual Help skipper Jamela Suyat came away with a game-high 24 points for the Lady Altas, while Marijo Medalla added 15, Ana Diocareza chipped in 14, and Shallane Eniong had 10.

Meanwhile, Navy aims to snap out of a two-game slide after absorbing back-to-back losses following its 26-24, 25-14, 25-18 triumph over the Lady Dolphins.
