CO-leaders Pocari Sweat and University of Sto. Tomas face off for the top seeding in the semifinals on the final day of eliminations in the Shakey’s V-League Season 13 Reinforced Conference at the Philsports Arena in Pasig.

The Lady Warriors and Tigresses look to make good use of the long break before facing off on Wednesday,

Pocari imports Breanna Lee Mackie and Kay Kacsits have been doing well with the locals and Pocari dropped just one set in a five-match win run after losing a five-setter to Air Force early this month.

Michelle Gumabao, Myla Pablo and Elaine Kasilag and Fil-Am setter Iris Tonelada hope to extend the streak to six when they take on the Tigresses.

Pocari and UST hold 5-1 win-loss records.

While Pocari has two imports, UST made it to the top with an all-Filipina crew headed by the power-hitting EJ Laure.

Also consistent contributors are Marivic Meneses, Carla Sandoval, Pam Lastimosa, Chlodia Cortez and the exciting Cherry Rondina.

The match starts at 6 p.m.

BaliPure, which lost in four sets to Pocari on Saturday, is expected to bounce back when it takes on winless Coast Guard at 4 p.m.

The Water Defenders (4-2) look to tie Customs for third (5-2).

Pocari is out to nail its second straight championship on its first year after topping the Open Conference.

BaliPure remains a strong contender with imports Katherine Morrell and Kaylee Manns along with locals Dzi Gervacio, Amy Ahomiro and former MVP Sue Roces.

Customs, meanwhile, is raring to bag a title in its first stint in the league, and has been doing well with the two-time league MVP Alyssa Valdez.
