ALYSSA Valdez finally suits up for Bali Pure on Monday in the Shakey’s V-League Season 13 Open Conference at The Arena in San Juan.

The Water Defenders when face University of the Philippines at 6 p.m.

“Nandito na ako sure na akong makakalaro,” said Valdez, who missed BaliPure’s first three matches as she participated in exhibition matches in Europe.

Bali Pure has won two straight matches after dropping the opener against Air Force.

Valdez, 22, will join her former Ateneo teammates Denden Lazaro, Ella de Jesus, Jem Ferrer and Amy Ahomiro.

 “Hopefully, we’re really praying na makukumpleto kami and magkaroon kami ng connection sa schedules namin,” said Valdez.

“Hindi rin naman namin sinasadya na mangyari ang ganoon na hindi kami magkasama-sama sa training but hopefully magawan din namin ng paraan ang attendance namin,” she added.

UP, on the other hand, looks to score a second straight victory after the team led by Nicole Tiamzon, Kathy Bersola, Isa Molde beat winless Baguio.

Meanwhile, National University (1-2) looks to bounce back from a five-set loss to BaliPure when it faces Iriga.

The Lady Bulldogs tangle with the Lady Uragons at 4 p.m.

Iriga (1-2), led by Jose Rizal U ace spiker Shola Alvarez and Bicolana Grazielle Bombita, are also trying to get back on the winning track after losing to BaliPure in four sets.
