"It was a good game, PLDT gave it their best, Army gave it their best. At the end, there's only one team that will be crowned as champions," said Tutaan, a former spokesman of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

The veteran-laden Army team was dethroned by a younger team in PLDT but Tutaan, who was wearing a green and black stripes polo shirt, said there is nothing to be ashamed of being second.

"Army, we're the second placers... it's for the love of the sport," said the former AFP official. "Championship is with the PLDT and we congratulate them."
