ALYSSA Valdez maintained she has not committed to any team yet in the Shakey's V-League, but she kept the door open for donning the University of Santo Tomas Tigresses' jersey again someday.

After her stint with Ateneo in the UAAP, Valdez, a former high school star at UST, confirmed she will be taking her act  to the pioneering commercial volleyball league.

She hasn't committed to any team, even if her college coach Tai Bundit has joined Philips Gold as a consultant in the 13th season of the V-League starting on May 15.

However, plans by Philips Gold to carry the Pocari Sweat colors may pose a problem for Valdez, who is one of the top endorsers of the rival Gatorade brand.

As fans await which team Valdez will play for, the three-time MVP and two-time champion in the UAAP didn't rule out a homecoming at UST as a guest player.

“That would be nice naman also,” said an excited Valdez. “But as of now kasi wala pa rin talaga (akong team).”

“Wala pa akong company talaga,” she added.

Before becoming a three-time UAAP women’s volleyball MVP and Queen Eagle, Valdez steered the junior Tigresses to three straight championships from 2008-2010.
