UST tandem Sisi Rondina and Caitlyn Viray swept FEU duo Bernadeth Pons and Kyla Atienza in a best-of-three Finals series.
Cebuana hotshot Rondina, who was eventually named MVP, carried the Tigresses to a perfect 9-0 title run and the school’s third crown in the last four seasons.
In Game 1, UST pulled off a, 21-16, 22-20, win after back-to-back attack errors by Pons and Atienza handed the Tigresses to steal the series opener.
