ROOKIE laden University of the East hopes to finally get on the winning track after three winless seasons in UAAP women’s volleyball.
Veteran coach Francis Vicente will still call the shots, with veterans Shaya Adorador, Jasmine Alcayde and Angelica Dacaymat back with the Lady Warriors.
The Recto-based squad will parade seven rookies; Isabelle Camama from Benedictine Institute Of Learning, Juliet Catindig and Dana Alyssa Disquitado of Holy Rosary College, Celine Elaiza Domingo out of Bethel Academy, Mariella Gabarda from San Bartolome High School, Mary Anne Mendrez of San Pedro Relocation Center National High School and Seth Marione Rodriguez from Del Pilar Academy.
UE last title was in 1973, the Lady Warriors were co-champions with Far Eastern University during that season.
