DEFENDING champion La Salle looks to finish off Ateneo in Game Two of the UAAP women's volleyball finals on Saturday to give graduating skipper Kim Fajardo a fitting sendoff.

The match starts at 4 p.m. at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The Lady Spikers hope to ride the momentum of a breakthrough win against rival Lady Eagles in Game 1 of the championship series, 21-25, 29-27, 25-22, 25-20, in their bid to repeat as champs.

But getting the job done again on Saturday will be much harder, admits La Salle coach Ramil de Jesus.

"Mas i-improve pa namin yung kulang namin sa game," he said.

Expect the Lady Spikers, though, to give it all they got for Fajardo.

"Kakayanin namin to, claiming it," said La Salle spiker Des Cheng. "Last game na n’ya (Fajardo) sa Saturday, as much as possible di na talaga (ma-extend yung series)."

"Lalaban hanggang dulo," she added.

For the Lady Eagles, the loss was a horrible experience they don't want to happen again.

"Yung loss, it's a learning experience para sa kanila. Sabi nga ni coach Tai [Bundit] kanina, charge it to experience," said Ateneo volleyball program director Sherwin Malonzo.

"We'll bounce back, do something about it."
