“Well, siguro first two sets nagulat ‘yung FEU, iyon grinab namin ‘yung opportunity na ganyan ang kilos nila at iyon, maganda naman ang naging result ng first two sets,” Lady Spikers coach Ramil De Jesus said.
“Eventually, pagdating ng third set, medyo nakilala na nila ‘yung isa’t isa, medyo nakakalaro na nang maayos, may connection na sila sa inside the court, hanggang nakapitan namin ‘yung third set.”
La Salle continued to dominate FEU, scoring its third consecutive straight-sets win including the two finals matches in Season 80.
FEU committed 28 errors while La Salle had 16 miscues.
Lycha Ebon was the lone double-digit scorer for the Lady Tams with 10 points, while Jerrili Malabanan added nine markers.
