LA SALLE captain Shevana Laput remains under the weather, putting her availability for at least the next game against Ateneo in doubt.
Head coach Ramil de Jesus confirmed that the Fil-Australian opposite hitter is dealing with an illness, with the team still awaiting medical clearance on whether she can return to action.
“Si Shevana, may sakit lang ngayon. Hihintayin pa namin ‘yung advice ng doctor kung okay na siya next game,” said de Jesus.

Laput has normed 22.5 points in their first two wins over FEU and UST to open their Season 88 title reclamation bid.
Even without their skipper, however, the Lady Spikers displayed their depth in a commanding straight-sets sweep of University of the Philippines for their third straight win without a single set dropped.
Rookie Mikee Santos stepped up as La Salle’s lead opposite hitter, scoring 10 points in a breakout showing that helped cushion Laput’s absence.
The trio of Angel Canino, Shane Reterta, and Amie Provido likewise delivered, combining for 34 points to lead La Salle’s ruthless showing.
The convincing victory highlighted the Lady Spikers’ firepower even without one of their key leaders, but attention now turns to Laput’s recovery as the team prepares for its clash with the winless Blue Eagles.
