The Lady Falcons’ sophomore captain is set to be named UAAP Season 88 women’s volleyball MVP, leading the field with 98.511 statistical points.

Nitura is the first-ever top individual player in women's volleyball to hail from Adamson.

The 21-year-old Alas Pilipinas stalwart is also poised to win best outside hitter for the second year running after taking top rookie honors in Season 87.
Not shy, not me
Nigerian winger Frances Mordi, who has backed Nitura on offense for the last two seasons for the Lady Falcons, finished second in the MVP race with 82.766 SPs.
Former top neophytes in La Salle’s Angel Canino (79.808 SPs) and University of Santo Tomas’ Angge Poyos (77.600 SPs) were third and fourth, respectively.
Fhei Sagaysay, another Adamson player, ranked fifth overall in SPs and even besting a handful of top attackers at 71.064.
Over in the men's side, Growling Tigers top gun Josh Ybañez will take home his third MVP trophy since copping the top prize in both his rookie and sophomore campaigns in Seasons 85 and 86.
