ROSELYN Doria would rather keep her mouth shut rather than bicker with fans with who are not in favor of her winning the 1st Best Middle Blocker award in the UAAP Season 81 women's volleyball tournament.
"Sabi nga po ng parents ko, tahimik ka na lang kasi wala ka namang kinalaman dyan. Kung anuman yung binigay sayo, wag mo nang pansinin kung anong sinasabi nila," the graduating National University skipper said on Wednesday.

Doria was honore with the top award for middle hitters despite finishing second in blocks with 0.69 block per frame and 37 kill blocks.
On the other hand, Ateneo's Maddie Madayag led the department with 0.86 block per set and 44 kill blocks. She settled for the 2nd Best Middle Blocker award.
The release of the list of awardees sparked an outcry, mostly from Ateneo faithful, with #JusticeForMaddie even trending on social media.
But for Doria, all that matters was that she gave it her best shot.
"Tatanggapin ko lang po. Yun lang po," she said.
The controversy, however, couldn't dampen her joy as Doria felt pride being one of the few bright spots in an otherwise forgettable campaign for the NU Lady Bulldogs.
"Thankful po ako kasi di ko rin po yun inaasahan. Nasa isip ko, okay lang na walang award basta nabigay ko yung best ko ngayong season," she said after following in the footsteps of Jaja Santiago who won the Best Blocker award back in 2017.
"Sobrang nagpapasalamat na lang ako kasi binigay sa akin ni Lord ito."
As Doria bids the Jhocson campus goodbye, this accomplishment only motivates her to be better as she embarks on a new chapter in her volleyball career.
"Mas papatunayan ko pa na karapat-dapat ako sa award," she said.
