MILENA Alessandrini could return to action in the UAAP Season 81 women’s volleyball in as early as two weeks as tests confirmed the University of Sto. Tomas hitter suffered a partial tear in her left ACL.
The Fil-Italian will be reevaluated in two weeks, according to Tigresses assistant coach Ian Fernandez.
“Rehab for two weeks. If stable, continue to play with knee support, if not, operation,” Fernandez said on Monday.
Alessandrini also suffered grade 3 MCL and LCL sprain in the match against Far Eastern University on Saturday.
UST (2-2) faces defending champion La Salle on Wednesday at the Arena in San Juan, National University on Saturday and UE on March 17.
Alessandrini also missed most of the first-round last year but did well enough to earn the Rookie of the Year award.
