The middle blockers are set to join the list of NU Lady Bulldogs playing in their final year in blue-and-gold, foremost being Bella Belen and Alyssa Solomon.

“Kami ng mga batchmates ko, Bella, Aly, Erin, last na namin ‘to,” Toring, the UAAP Season 84 2nd Best Middle blocker, expressed following their straight-sets triumph over Ateneo on Wednesday.
Toring, Pangilinan, Belen, Solomon, setter Lams Lamina, and former libero Jen Nierva compose National U's championship core that made its mark on both high school and collegiate levels.

Lamina, however, hasn't decided yet if the current season will be her last for the Lady Bulldogs.
“Wala pa po. Wala pa po akong naiisip,” the 22-year-old playmaker expressed after her 14-excellent set and two-point performance in their sweep of the Blue Eagles.

Above anything else, NU and its championship core are laser-focused on their title defense.
“Mas nagfo-focus ako ngayon sa team ko. Hopefully, ma-reach namin yung goal namin,” the Season 84 Best Setter shared.
“Sana maging maganda yung kalabasan ng exit ng seniors namin,” Lamina added.
