LA Salle and University of Sto. Tomas try to get back on track when they take on struggling teams on Wednesday in the UAAP Season 81 women’s volleyball tournament at the Arena in San Juan.

The Lady Spikers and Tigresses are tied for second with University of the Philippines and Far Eastern University at 5-3, behind Ateneo which holds a 7-1 win-loss record.

La Salle was beaten for the second time this season by UP on Sunday, and the Lady Spikers hope to regain their winning ways against the National University Lady Bulldogs, in joint sixth with a 2-6 record, in the 4 p.m. match.

The Tigresses, meanwhile, seek to bounce back from a sorry five-set loss to the Lady Eagles last week when they take on Adamson Lady Falcons (1-7) at 2 p.m.

Coach Ramil De Jesus expects the Lady Spikers to do much better after committing 17 service errors in the loss to UP. The Lady Spikers were swept a rival team in the elimination round for the first time since Ateneo did it in Season 79.
