IT'S been a time-tested tactic for La Salle to head straight to its training grounds, the Enrique Razon Sports Center, right after tasting defeat.
No matter what time their match ends, when it ends in a loss, the Lady Spikers will go right back to training under the ever-watchful eye of Ramil de Jesus.
There'd be no need for that after their victory vs. University of the East on Saturday, right?
Wrong.
“Might as well, we’ll go back sa Razon,” shared assistant coach Noel Orcullo even after La Salle scored its first back-to-back wins in UAAP Season 87.

"Unang-una, hindi naging maganda ‘yung resulta ng game. Although we won, pero hindi 'yun 'yung gusto naming makita sa kanila," he added, as they squandered an early lead and surrendered the second set against the winless Lady Warriors.
The RDJ standard
Both Orcullo and team captain Angel Canino lamented their second set slump in their 'bad win,' as they ended it with Alleiah Malaluan hitting the ball outside.
"Kitang-kita naman po sa errors namin, lalo na nung second set," Canino, who top-scored for the green and white with a double-double of 20 points and 10 excellent digs, shared.
“Second set, nakuha ng UE. Nandoon na kami, lamang kami, pero nag-relax sila eh. “Parang hindi nila nirespeto. Parang hinintay nalang nila yung UE kung magkakamali o aayaw na,” the longtime deputy expressed, for his part.
Rookie playmaker Mikole Reyes, with 23 excellent sets, and veteran opposite Jyne Soreno, with 12 points and seven excellent digs in just two sets, helped awaken them from their second set nightmare.
But if the 3-2 Lady Spikers are to break away from the muddied middle they find themselves in, they have to get back to the standard that has led to over 300 career wins for de Jesus.
That means heading straight to Razon - even after a win.
