KYLE Negrito and Heather Guino-o are determined to work hard to finally win a title after several silver medal finishes by Far Eastern University.

Second placers in the UAAP Season 80 women’s tournament and runners-up for two straight PVL Collegiate Conferences, the Lady Tamaraws hope to reach the top this time.

“Puro kami silver finish siguro kulang lang kami ng panapos sa huli, siguro tapang pa, puso pa, laban pa,” said Negrito, a graduating setter.

“Ngayong season, ayoko lang i-take for granted yung last playing year ko,” she added.

Guino-o, a graduating outside hitter, believes the team has what it takes to surpass the silver medal finish, even without Bernadeth Pons who is now in the commercial leagues.
