KATH Arado is confident it would not take long before University pf the East would make the win column.
The Lady Red Warriors lost a five-set match to the University of the Philippine Lady Maroons on Saturday, and Arado is already bracing for their next match in the UAAP Season 81 women’s volleyball tournament.
UE next takes on National University, which was beaten by Far Eastern University in four sets.
Arado, who had 32 digs and 18 excellent receptions, was pleased with the Lady Red Warriors’ performance against the Lady Warriors, winner of two preseason tournaments.
Never kong nakita na may nagsabi na lalaban ang UE,” the graduating libero said.
“Pinag-usapan nga namin na 'di biro kalabanin ang UP kasi nga dalawang championship nakuha nila. Sayang man pero, at the same time, confident pa rin kami na nalabanan namin 'yung champion team.”
Arado told her teammates they need to play much better in their next games.
