HEATHER Guino-o scored a season-high 20 points as Far Eastern University beat Adamson, 25-18, 17-25, 25-14, 22-25, 15-8, on Sunday for its third straight win in the UAAP Season 81 women’s volleyball tournament at the Arena in San Juan.

Guino-o had 17 kills and three service aces while making 13 digs and 10 excellent receptions as the Lady Tamaraws gained a share of third spot with La Salle and UST at 4-2.

Lycha Ebon had 17 points, Domingo scored 14 including four blocks, while libero Buding Duremdes had 44 digs.

Coach George Pascua said was not very pleased as FEU played sluggish, allowing the Lady Falcons to force a decider before completing the win in one hour and 54 minutes.

“Sabi ko sa mga players ko, balik lang tayo kasi mahirap naman na magre-relax ng ganun-ganun lang,” said Pascua.

“Dapat di kami mawawala sa goal namin. Dapat double effort pa.”
