TINA Salak will return to the helm of the Far Eastern University women’s volleyball program as its head coach for UAAP Season 87.
The coaching change was made official by the team on Wednesday morning.
LOOK:
“From the outset, it has been our intention for Coach Tina to provide long-term mentorship in FEU. However, personal administrative matters made her miss most of the buildup for #UAAPSeason85 when she remained involved as a consultant.
"With Coach Tina now back full time with the team, she will reassume the Head Coach position.“

The Lady Tamaraws legend once called the shots for her alma mater back in Season 85 before stepping down in light of her plan to migrate to the US.
She’d subsequently rejoin FEU as a deputy to Manolo Refugia’s staff midway through a promising Season 86 campaign for the Morayta side.
FEU finished the elimination round in fourth place with a 9-5 record and dealt eventual champion National University a proper scare in the semifinals by forcing a do-or-die match for a spot in the title series.
Their dream run came to a tough end in the Final Four rubber match, but the prospect of a competitive future remains afloat with the likes of Gerz Petallo, Chenie Tagaod, Tin Ubaldo and Faida Bakanke staying put.
Upon leading FEU’s breakthrough Final Four campaign, albeit one win shy of the finals, Refugia will stay onboard as one of Salak’s deputies for their forthcoming UAAP campaign.
