FAR Eastern University boosted its Final Four bid with a 25-16, 18-25, 25-23, 25-16 victory over winless University of the East in the UAAP Season 85 women's volleyball tournament on Sunday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Chen Tagaod had 20 points on 12 attacks, six blocks, and two aces for FEU, which improved their win-loss record to 5-5 for fifth spot.
The Lady Warriors suffered their 10th loss in as many matches.

"Gusto po namin talagang makapasok sa Final Four," said Tagaod. "May pressure, may kaba, pero na-eexcite din kami kasi from top eight last season, unti-unti na naming naaabot 'yung goals namin."
Tagaod landed six of FEU's season-high 23 blocks in a single match.
Meanwhile, Ja Lana's scoresheet-topping efforts with 24 big markers fell short in halting UE's win drought.
With their tenth straight loss of the season, UE drops out of Final Four contention for the 16th year running since its fourth place finish in Season 69.
UE returns to action against Adamson on April 15 while FEU challenges NU the day after at the PhilSports Arena.
