FAR Eastern University returned to the win column after rebounding a slow start to take down Adamson in four, 22-25, 31-28, 25-17, 25-20, in the UAAP Season 88 women’s volleyball tournament on Sunday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
After yielding the opening set, the Lady Tamaraws swung the momentum their way in the marathon second frame, surviving two Lady Falcons set points before eventually levelling the match score at 1-1.

The Morayta squad kept up the momentum in the third set, as Jaz Ellarina’s heavy serves plagued San Marcelino’s defense and ignited an 8–0 run down the stretch.
A neck-and-neck battle unfolded in the fourth frame, with the two teams tied at 17-all before FEU’s balanced attack finally pulled away late en route to a bounce back win coming from a five-set heartbreak against defending champion National U.
With their second win, the Lady Tamaraws forged a three-way tie in the middle of the standings alongside University of Santo Tomas and Adamson all at 2–2.
