ATENEO'S Faith Nisperos has decided to forgo her final playing year.
The UAAP Season 84 Second Best Outside Hitter is set to join the Akari Chargers in the Premier Volleyball League after four years with Ateneo.
"I believe that in my years at Ateneo, I was able to fulfill my duties and give my best every time I'm on the court," Nisperos said in a press conference.

"I want to be able to step out more from my comfort zone because I believe that turning pro is the best way to hone my talent and character as an athlete," she added.
Nisperos led the Blue Eagles to a preseason title in the women's division of the revived V-League earlier this year.
"Now, Faith has decided to spread her wings further. She has informed the University that she will be entering the world of professional volleyball as she concludes her studies in Ateneo," the university said in a statement.
