DETDET Pepito, along with the injured Jonna Perdido, will play one more year with University of Santo Tomas in UAAP Season 88.
The graduating captain and on-the-mend winger have decided to suit up for España one last time by maxing out their playing years to five.

Fr. Rodel Cansancio, O.P., director and regent of the UST Institute of Physical Education and Athletics (IPEA), shared on social media that the Golden Tigresses duo have decided to stay put with the black-and-gold.
“1 More Year,” his post wrote.
Pepito captained UST to another Final Four run in Season 87, but the Tigresses were ousted by La Salle in one game after missing out on twice-to-beat advantage.
The 22-year-old elementary education major-slash-UST floor general finished the season at No. 2 in digging (4.25 per set) and fourth in receiving (42.74 percent efficiency).
This also confirms that Pepito will be foregoing the 2025 PVL Rookie Draft slated this June.
Meanwhile, redemption and recovery are all that counts now for Perdido.

The 5-foot-6 winger missed the entire Season 87 with a full ACL tear from their Shakey’s Super League Pre-Season Championship bronze medal match loss late last year.
Her scoring exploits, one which proved vital to UST’s Season 86 finals run, was missed all-season long as the brunt of the offensive load went to reigning Rookie of the Year Angge Poyos and mainstay Reg Jurado.
