LA Salle eyes its third straight win as it takes on National University on Wednesday in the UAAP Season 81 women’s volleyball tournament at the Arena in San Juan.

The Lady Spikers look to tighten their grip on the lead after beating the Ateneo Lady Eagles in four in the opener and a straight-sets win over the Adamson Lady Falcons a week later.

La Salle and NU face off at 2 p.m. before winless teams Adamson and University of the East clash at 4 p.m.

Coach Ramil de Jesus urges the Lady Spikers led by Desiree Cheng, Aduke Ogunsanya and Michelle Cobb not to take NU lightly, even as the Lady Bulldogs play on without setter Joyme Cagande, who suffered a torn ACL on opening day.

NU pins its hopes on rookies Ivy Lacsina and Princess Robles as it faces a very tough test after a quick win over University of the East.

“La Salle is a good serving team and blocking team.
