THE UNIVERSITY of the Philippines outside hitter Casiey Dongallo will likely be out indefinitely after sustaining a left knee injury in their UAAP Season 88 match against Far Eastern University on Sunday.

Dongallo awkwardly fell near the center line after scoring a point off a set from Julia De Leon late in the first set, and was promptly assisted off the taraflex.

She finished with four points, all on attacks, and four receptions in her lone set played.
After the straight-sets loss, Dongallo was seen with a leg brace and crutches exiting the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Due to the nature of the injury, acute swelling must first subside before getting an MRI, which may sideline Dongallo at least for their match against University of Santo Tomas on Wednesday.
