JUST as the entire La Salle community was cheering its heart out, it was also holding its breath at around 6:40 p.m. on Saturday.
Right after the Lady Spikers climbed back to the mountaintop, all eyes fell on the four seniors who will be carrying the trophy back to Taft Ave.

Was this perfect run in UAAP Season 88 the perfect ending for the collegiate careers of all of Angel Canino, Shevana Laput, Amie Provido, and Lyka De Leon? The initial answer will come from the green-and-white's 'Archer's Stance.'
The Lady Spikers' longtime tradition has always seen the team forming a circle following the final whistle of the season, holding up imaginary bows and arrows before departing seniors head to its center for one last time under the spotlight.
Yet once this circle was formed, nobody went to the middle, as La Salle held its 'Archer's Stance' in front of the roaring crowd of 22, 509 inside the Mall of Asia Arena.
Not long after, the seniors just stood back up and continued with their championship celebration.
That means that, yes, basing on this at the very least, all of Canino, Provido, Laput, and De Leon aren't going anywhere. They are staying put, as they defend the title they had just won come Season 89.
