ANGGE Poyos will likely play for University of Sto. Tomas in must-win Game Two of the UAAP Season 86 women's volleyball finals against National University on Wednesday.
UST head coach Kungfu Reyes shared a positive update on Poyos' recovery from a right ankle injury suffered in the opener of the best-of-three title series.

"Depende pa (kung maglalaro si Angge) pero mag-warmup naman siya," Reyes told SPIN.ph hours before Game Two.
Poyos suffered the injury in Set 2 on Saturday after landing on the foot of her teammate Em Banagua.

The newly-minted Rookie of the Year and 2nd Best Outside Hitter no longer saw action for the rest of the game as the ankle was fitted with a walking boot.
Officially, she is labelled a 'gametime decision' as the Tigresses look to draw level and force sudden death with the top-seeded NU Lady Bulldogs.
