ALOHI Robins-Hardy will be an assistant coach for the University of the Philippines in the oncoming UAAP Season 87 women’s volleyball tournament.
The 6-foot-3 Filipino-American playmaker was barred direct entry to Farm Fresh in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference, as the league insisted she must first apply for next year’s draft.
Hence, as part of the Strong Group Athletics stable, Robins-Hardy was given a new tour of duty with the Fighting Maroons.
Earlier this week, just as the new PVL season went underway, she began her new mentorship role to State U's up-and-coming setter Heart Magsombol.
Robins-Hardy’s first taste of Philippine volleyball came in the defunct PSL as lead setter for United Volleyball Club-Cocolife and Cignal.

She also had a hand at playmaking duties for the Philippine national team, most notably in the 2019 Asean Grand Prix where they won the bronze medal.
While she couldn’t play for him, at least for now, Robins-Hardy will be part of Farm Fresh-slash-UP shot-caller Benson Bocboc’s coaching staff.

Among new-look State U’s stars to watch out for are Kianne Olango, Yesha Noceja, and Jothea Mae Ramos with the returning veteran trio of Nina Ytang, Nica Celis, and Irah Jaboneta.
As Season 87 host, the Fighting Maroons look to turn a one-win season around with new pieces to play with and new leaders at the forefront to lead the maroon-and-green's most promising fight on the taraflex yet.
