ADAMSON University scored its first win in three starts, beating University of the East, 25-9, 25-15, 25-17, on Sunday in the UAAP women’s volleyball tournament at The Arena in San Juan.
Mylene Paat made 13 points for the Lady Falcons, while Jessica Galanza added 11 as Adamson moved to joint fifth with National University.
Ateneo and La Salle hold 3-0 win-loss records, while University of Santo Tomas and Far Eastern University have 1-1 cards.
The Lady Falcons came up with eight block points against three by the Lady Warriors. Adamson also had more points from the service line, 8-3.
Skipper Shaya Adorador scored seven points for UE, which remained winless in two games and sit at the bottom with University of the Philippines.
