ADAMSON downed Far Eastern University, 25-19, 27-25, 25-13, on Sunday for its second straight win in the UAAP women’s volleyball tournament at The Arena in San Juan.

Mylene Paat scored 17 points, Jessica Galanza added 16 and Amanda Villanueva chipped in 10 for Adamson, which has leveled its record to 2-2 after starting the tournament with losses to league-leading Ateneo and La Salle.

Adamson coach Sherwin Meneses is pleased to see his players work hard to recover after two early losses.

"Nahirapan kami noong una pero habang tumatagal sabi ko, parang mas malakas ang atake ngayon, pero ’yung depensa, nandiyan naman lagi ’yan,” said Meneses.

No Lady Tamaraw managed to score in double-figures, with Remy Palma coming up with seven points and hard-hitting sophomore Bernadeth Pons and Charlemagne Simborio limited to six apiece.

FEU slipped to joint third place with Adamson behind unbeaten teams La Salle and Ateneo (4-0).
